People who eat more foods rich in Vitamin E tend to have reduced risk of heart disease.  It has been observed that people who eat a lot of foods rich in beta-carotene are not generally prone to cancer.  Natural antioxidants are most abundant in fruits and vegetables, as well as in other foods including grains, nuts, and some red meats, poultry and fish.  It is difficult to get enough from foods, unless you want to spend a lot of time cracking Brazil nuts and consuming some other unusual foods that are hard to get out of season.  Even though you may start taking supplement, which are high in antioxidants, you should also include foods, which are rich in them as well.
